Except that Jon Tester’s endorsement of Hunt looks pretty silly now.

Never mind that - I’m waiting for your wisdom on the Kelleher choice. Did the Republican Party put up its best and brightest? (Hint - answer begins with letter ‘y’.)
Mark, I really have no idea, but I do take a stab at it. What do you think?
Endorsing someone who loses makes one silly?
Dude, we are gonna have to go to a Bobcat/Griz game sometime …
You’re right Wulfgar. Silly was the wrong word. I should have said stupid.
Endorsing a candidate from your party in a general election is one thing. Endorsing one candidate from your party over another candidate from your party in a primary is another.
Smart politicians don’t take sides in primaries. If the candidate you endorse loses, you’ve simultaneously demonstrated your irrelevance to lead within your own party and stated on the record that you think the winner was not the best choice for the job.
Like I said. Stupid.
Go Griz!
